Annual Service

An annual boiler service is a thorough check and maintenance process carried out by one of our Gas Safe registered engineers to ensure your boiler is safe, efficient, and reliable. Here’s what we’ll do:

• Visual Inspection - checking the boiler and pipework for signs of leaks, corrosion, or visible damage. We’ll inspect the flame (if it’s visible) and we’ll look at the overall condition of the boiler.
• Internal Component Check – We’ll open the boiler casing to inspect and clean internal components. And, clean or replace parts as needed, to ensure optimal performance.
• Gas Pressure and Flow Tests – We measure gas pressure and flow to confirm they are within the manufacturer's specifications. And we will adjust settings if necessary.
• System Checks – We will fire up the boiler to ensure there are no faults when it is running. We’ll also inspect and clean the system filter.
• Service Report – If there are any recommendations for repairs or further action, we will give you a detailed report, and we can arrange for all work to be completed.

Annual servicing can prolong the life of your boiler and central heating system and save you money in the long term.

Boiler Flue & Controls

• Flue and Ventilation Checks – We will inspect the boiler flue inside and outside, ensuring it is safely fitted, not blocked and is expelling gases correctly. We will ensure the ventilation meets Gas Safety Regulations.
• Safety and Controls Testing – We will test your boiler controls and safety devices to ensure they are operating correctly, and all seals and connections are secure. And, check for any gas or water leaks.

Central Heating

Do you only think about your central heating when it gets colder, and then assume everything will be working fine? Relying on luck that everything is fine might result in you being freezing cold, and probably when you least expect it.

By including Central Heating cover, your radiators, pump, flue, and general central heating system will be covered for breakdowns.

We also offer Landlords’ Central Heating Cover, providing peace of mind for you and your tenants, a free landlord gas safety certificate and service on the boiler annually.

Plumbing & Drains

Taking out plumbing and drainage cover will give peace of mind that, in the event of a water leak or water loss, our team will be out to you as a priority. And, even if it is an emergency, there will be no call-out charges.

• Plumbing Repairs – We’ll carry out repairs to the plumbing system in your home, including dripping taps, burst pipes, blocked sinks and over-running or non-flushing toilets.
• Unblocking and Repairing Drains – We will unblock drains and waste pipes to restore water flow.

Home Electrics

Adding Home Electrics to your Home Cover Plan will ensure that if you are suddenly without power, our team will be out to help you fast. There will be no call-out charges, even for 24/7 emergencies.

• Repairs to Mains Electrical Systems and Wiring – A qualified engineer will be out to fix wiring, including your fuse box, circuit breakers, light fittings, switches and sockets.

So, if you have flickering lights, lost power to a plug socket, or your electrics keep tripping, consider adding Home Electrics to cover you for future issues. And, in the meantime, we will do our best to get a qualified engineer out to you fast – there won’t be a call-out charge, just our hourly rate.
